This training is designed for Health and Commercial staff and ECO members to practice the extinguishment of a Live Controlled Fire using a CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) Extinguisher, Fire Blanket and Fire Hose Reel.
Operate as part of an Emergency Control Organisation (Fire Warden) course is offered by Get set Safety And Emergency Training.
These common training units are required to apply for Fire Safety Assessment Qualified Accreditation. These units fill the training gap if the service technician has already completed the service units.
This course prepares staff in chemical handling and spill response training. Staff are trained in using spill control equipment to contain general and chemical spills safely. Their prompt actions will contain and clean up spills with the minimum environmental consequences.
This session covers the duties and responsibilities of the Chief Warden (CW) and Deputy Chief Warden (DCW). On completion of this session, the CW and DCW will understand how to coordinate operations of the ECO and how to coordinate actions to safeguard endangered persons.
