In our weekly sewing classes students learn a new skill with each project. We start with a drawstring backpack and move on to pyjama pants, a simple top and more. We are using a curriculum from the Kids Sewing Company, a tried and tested Canadian company. As students advance, they will learn to sew a hoodie, t-shirt and sweatpants with knit fabrics and eventually move on to using commercial patterns of their choice.
Sew Creative was established in 2012 as a home based sewing school in Toronto, engaging children 7 years and older in projects that they will love to design and sew. Our class size is maximum 6 students (during COVID max. 5 students). This allows each student ample teacher time and the ability to work at their own pace.
Long Arm Quilting for you is still available. Bring in your quilts for us to quilt them up. We a have a computerized long arm machine that will give you precise and consistent quilting. We have many designs to choose from.

This popular class demands two sittings; you may join one or the other or both, to get a different pattern from the morning class. Tamara Klassen will lead you on an exploration of the craft of Sashiko, a Japanese hand-stitching technique used for centuries.
The Fibrelle sewing school offers a beautiful creative space to learn and discuss in a relaxed and caring atmosphere. Open to all levels and all desires: clothing, decoration, skate dresses.
This sewing course will allow you to understand how a machine works so you can start creating your own projects! Our very first project will be making a small pouch with a zipper!
