Chlorine Safety

Chlorine is highly hazardous and virulent in nature. Therefore, exceptional precaution is to be taken in areas where Chlorine is stored and handled. Exposure to even low concentration of Chlorine gas for extended periods can cause grave health problems to Plant personnel.

Chlorine corrodes costly Plant Machinery resulting in wastage of time and money. Chlorine leak never gets arrested by itself, it only gets worse if not properly corrected in time.

This introductory course will instruct the participants to understand the dangers of working with chlorine gas, as well as how to use safe working procedures when exposed to this potentially dangerous chemical substance..
