DurationThe OCN NI Level 1 Award in Chocolate Making qualification has been designed to provide foundation skills in the areas of working with chocolate and producing chocolate desserts.
In order to achieve this qualification, learners must successfully complete all four mandatory units for a total of 6 credits.
The Open College Network Northern Ireland (OCN NI) is a UK-recognised Awarding Organisation based in Northern Ireland. We are regulated by CCEA Regulation to develop and award regulated professional and technical (vocational) qualifications from Entry Level up to and including Level 5 across all sector areas. In addition, OCN NI is also regulated by Ofqual to award similar qualifications in England.

You will learn how to create beautiful seasonal chocolate truffles, some flavoured chocolate bark and nut rochers. The last part of the class will be about how to pack and gift wrap your wonderful creations.
