Whether you’re just getting started or want to improve your skills, we can help. We offer excellent instruction on guitar, bass, ukulele, piano/keyboard, drums, voice, brass and more – if it has strings, you can beat on it, or you can blow into it, we can probably teach you how to play it
Bird is a music school, a creative space, a recording studio and record label, a performance venue and more. We’ve been teaching San Francisco’s kids (and more than a few adults) to rock since 2005.
Here, music and technology come together in a positive and safe environment. Students of all ages (7 to infinity) and skill levels are encouraged to use what’s current to enhance their creative musical ideas. We emphasize technique and exposure to all genres of music, enabling musicians to build on familiar ideas to produce something unique.
In addition to music and performance skills, playing in a band teaches our students cooperation, teamwork, self-confidence and goal-setting. We like to think of our work as the intersection of music, community and technology.
Founder and instructor Lane Murchison is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer with deep roots in the San Francisco music scene.
Rhythm Babies provides a music readiness program for little ones ages four months through five years in the Philadelphia area.
The program, which is designed for children birth (yes, birth!) to five years, is based on the premise that all children are musical and have the same innate ability to learn music as language.
Kindermusik offers your preschooler the best of everything. We’ve got social, emotional, early language
Your budding musician will love trying out all of the different instruments, learning about instrument families, singing in different languages, and reading beginning music notation!
It is never too early to start music education of your children. The sooner you start, the better the outcome.
