You've pieced it. You've quilted it (or someone has). Now you're ready to finish this puppy!! Come learn how to make binding and bind a sample quilt using your sewing machine (as well as some hand stitching) and have it turn out beautifully!
Description Over the last 10 years, Hitofude has come up in conversation again and again. It's long been on our "to knit list", and many of you have requested help with its unusual construction. We have often heard that those who knit it often make it more than once.
We will get you started spinning on a modern wheel, and will discuss and experience some of the common fibers textile artists (as in, anyone who creates handmade textiles) use most. Don't miss this opportunity to try your hand at spinning!
In this class you will learn the tools, techniques, and skills required to create your very first crochet project. Open to ages 10 and up.
Our popular beginner's knitting series consists of three 90-minute classes. Over the course of three classes, you will learn to cast on your foundation stitches, the knit and purl stitches and how to combine them, and bind off your stitches.Â
