Materials needed: Pencil, paper, eraser, colouring pencils. OPTIONAL: iPad with procreate (if you would like to digitally draw the image- HOWEVER, using a traditional pencil and paper is encouraged!)
Art 4 Ages has been providing Art classes for kids, teens and Adults in Brisbane since 2000. We teach students techniques and skills of drawing, painting and sculpting as well as developing effective, efficient and healthy studio habits. This 2-day workshop has been requested by some of the students that have done my Introduction to Embroidery workshops at MakerSpace, Marrickville. The embroidery technique used for this work is called ‘Silk Shading’ or ‘Long-and-Short Stitch’.
