The school offers classes in classical ballet, stretch and strengthen, contemporary, jazz and acrobatics for students aged 2 years to adult. Expressions Ballet Academy aims to foster a love of dance in a caring, nurturing and fun environment, whilst providing students with a high level of technical training.
Students have the opportunity to undertake examinations in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and participate in an end of year performance as well as other performance opportunities throughout the year.
Emma Madden has many years experience in a range of dance fields. She has undertaken examinations in both the Royal Academy of Dance and Australian Ballet School syllabi. Emma understands the importance of teaching dance in a fun environment where everyone feels comfortable and inspired to learn.
The students of Creative Dance Academy are trained in the Royal Academy of Dancing (R.A.D.) syllabus for both grade & major examinations. The R.A.D. is the most widely recognized classical ballet syllabus in the world producing the best technical performers in today’s Ballet companies.
This class is for those dancers wishing to strengthen and condition their legs, ankles and feet with the aim to dance en pointe.
The Prep Ballet class is a great step up from our Tiny Tot’s Ballet Programme, or if your child is new to dance and wants to learn all the wonderful beginnings of Ballet.
Classical ballet evokes images of romantic ballerinas, swathed in white tulle, skilfully dancing 'en pointe'. It is the universal language of music combined with graceful movement.
