DurationClassical Ballet is the base training for any dancer. It teaches students to maintain a strong posture, develops co-ordination, balance and flow with a sense for classical music.
Students will improve flexibility and develop self confidence while having fun and growing strong. Exams are sat in Theatrical Dance International (TDI) and Character exams are also offered in the Junior Levels in NZAMD.

Ballet is a formalized style of dance to create expression through movement. At Auckland Academy of Dance, we teach the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabi from Pre School— Solo Seal.
This energetic class consists of foundational jazz dance elements including; counting & timing, directional changing, spotting, body alignment, contractions, isolations, jumps, turns and combinations.
These classes provide your young dancer access to technical and artistic skills of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance skills taught at an age appropriate level through a fun and creative lens.
Ballet is a great technical foundation for all dance  genres.
