Cloud Computing (AWS Solutions Architect Associate)

Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage and computing power, without direct active management by the user. The term is generally used to describe data centers available to many users over the Internet.

These classes will help the students master this very important skill. AWS architectural principles and services, we will also deep dive into each of the individual elements: IAM, S3, Cloudfront, Storage Gateway, Snowball, EC2, Cloudwatch, CLI, Lambda, Route 53, RDS, Dynamo DB, VPC, SQS, SES, SNS, Certificate Manager and Basics of Linux for AWS.

Knowledge And Experience You Will Gain:

• Hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and database AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and management services.
• Ability to identify and define technical requirements for an AWS-based application.
• Ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement.

• An understanding of the basic architectural principles of building on the AWS Cloud.

Requirements

• Know the basics of IT.
• No AWS Cloud experience is necessary, we'll use the AWS Free Tier.
