Founded in 2012, the Forge Nashville is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in a 23,000 square foot facility in the Railyard District near the Cumberland river. The Forge offers a massive makerspace, wood and metal shops, art gallery, private creative offices, and artist studios geared specifically for the artisans and creative misfits of Nashville.

For fine artists in need of studio space, we are proud to offer Nashville’s only program of its kind, STATE Gallery + Studios. For hopeful small business owners who wish to turn their hobby into a sustainable income, we have a curriculum of business classes and subsidized shop space for those in need. No matter your creative medium, you can find resources and a vibrant community at the Forge. We support artists by offering access to professional equipment and classes, affordable work space, scholarships, public and private events.
