The objective of this training is to develop coaching and mentoring skills among leaders (people with subordinates). This course will provide a fundamental understanding of coaching and mentoring process, the importance of this action and how to do coaching and mentoring effectively.

The mentor provides guidance and opportunities for practice. The coach observes and critiques the performance and provides you with an outside perspective on your skills. Having a mentor and/or a coach can be very helpful to your career development in your company. Both mentoring and coaching must be viewed as long-term relationships -- a commitment of about two years should be obtained before the relationship is established
