Coaching is about helping people create a positive, directed change in their working lives. It’s about managers helping people develop their potential. Even with the best intentions, today’s time-strapped managers find themselves using older techniques: just tell them what to do, solve it for them rather than taking a solutions focused approach to tasks.
This workshop will help managers work on finding solutions with their staff member; coaching and mentoring works forwards not backwards; to answer “How can we change this?,” How can we do it better?”
Intended Audience:
Managers, team leaders and supervisors who have staff reporting into them. No prior knowledge is required.
Topics:
We know that you can read all about a new skill or watch someone doing it on the net, but you may never get the hang of it unless you practice yourself. Think about when you learned to ride your bike – you may have watched someone else, but until you do it yourself there is no learning taking place.
We believe that managers and staff need a place to learn, then practice the skills. One Day Training is all about transforming knowledge into on-the- job competence. We offer full day training and half day training. We can train your staff at your office or arrange a venue close to your workplace.
This one day, interactive workshop is delivered by a team of ICF certified coaches and is ideal for people with an interest in coaching themselves and others, those seeking an introduction to the profession of coaching, or anyone wishing to enhance their personal or team development.
