What we do at Ultimate Leadership Training
We specialise in management, leadership, coaching and HR training courses and have done for many years. As well as delivering the coaching skills training in Winchester, Hampshire, we also deliver courses throughout the UK and have ventured onto mainland Europe which was very exciting.
Our biggest success comes in the form of the 12-month Action Focused Leadership and Management Program which is creating a high-performance culture in many well know companies and organisations across the country. The program comes with the Action Focused Reflective Logbook which is such a powerful tool. It monitors success, encourages the learners to reflect and is unique to this program.
We can deliver the training for you or we can train your trainers to deliver the courses to your teams. We sell the 12-month Action Focused Leadership and Management Program under license, train your team to deliver it and keep in touch with them in case they need support.
My business development and management career started in the forces, then large leisure centres, then large bars and restaurants, and then retail (always customer facing and always very busy). The teams I have managed have varied from 5 to around 55 (as a manager and business owner) and around 1000 as an area manager (managing 22 managers)

On 21 September 2019 I created Ultimate Leadership Training Ltd with the sole goal of creating a society where it's normal for the new generation of managers and aspiring managers to lead and manage their teams with compassion, empathy, drive and enthusiasm and to not feel trapped by the old ways of leadership that no longer work.
I believe that if you concentrate on the performance of your team members (at every level) the results will take care of themselves. The results, of course, will be at a higher level if both the values of the organisation and those that work for it are aligned - This belief was inspired by Ben Hunt-Davies and sits at the heart of all the training I deliver and teams I manage.
The Ultimate Leadership Training Team consists of 5 other team members. Firstly there's our fabulously well organised VA and secondly our four highly qualified and awesome training consultants who take on the courses I can't fit into my very busy diary or deliver the courses I am not qualified to deliver.
Leading and managing teams of People should be a pleasure not a chore
I personally don’t believe that people are born leaders. I think it’s something that everyone can learn and develop (over time) and once your team members get it, no matter what stage of their career they are at – that’s where and when the magic happens!
I believe that all management and leadership training needs two things:
It needs to be continuous and come with additional ongoing coaching and support where and when needed
The learners need to be held accountable for achieving the training goals.

I now train and support new and aspiring managers to become everyone's favourite manager (Yes I believe this is possible) and encourage them to lead with emotional intelligence and a strong set of personal core values at the heart of everything they do.
When I say everyone's favourite manager, the everyone refers to themselves, their team, their friends, their family, their managers, their HR manager, their customers, their suppliers and the planet.
