Cobit 2019 Foundation Course Overview

Cobit 2019 Foundation is a course designed to teach individuals how to use the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 2019) framework.

The course discusses the seven domains of the COBIT 2019 framework and how they can be used to ensure responsible information and technology management.

Participants will learn how to use the framework to identify areas of risk and develop and implement IT policies. They will also understand the principles of IT governance and IT governance and be able to map IT processes to COBIT 2019 Domains and Goals.

Participants should be able to apply the decision-making framework to IT projects and demonstrate a good understanding of IT frameworks, standards and good practices.

Course Prerequisites

In order to enroll in the COBIT 2019 Foundation training, there are no mandatory prerequisites. However, it is advised that students possess some basic knowledge of information technology, business principles, IT governance frameworks, and enterprise risk management. It would also be beneficial for participants to have an understanding of enterprise governance of IT (EGIT).
