Classes consist of technical pad work to improve your fitness, strikes, speed and power. After this we have technical touch contact sparing for beginners, or contact sparing if you are looking to enter competition.
The Cobra Martial Arts system comprises of the six most popular and practical martial arts styles being Karate, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai Boxing (Kickboxing), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Filipino Eskrima (also known as Kali and Arnis).
This variety also ensures that the program remains fresh and exciting for all ages. We are a family owned and run club that prides ourselves in providing a family friendly learning environment.
To Little Cobras (3 - 5 year old), Juniors (6-9 year old), Young Adults (10 - 14 year old) and Adults (15 & over) an effective Mixed Martial art. You will learn self defence to defend yourself, see improvements in discipline, fitness, co-ordination, flexibility & more! All of this while enjoying yourself!
This class teaches the use of punching, elbow, knee , & kicking techniques. The lesson begins with a warm up, then it is on to some strength and conditioning training . Kickboxing course is offered by Sydney Karate Club. The club was founded with the goal of teaching self-defence to a small group of friends, and from here Sydney Karate Club has grown, offering freestyle karate and self-defence classes to people of all ages from its specialised facility in Ultimo.
In each class you will learn practical kickboxing combinations that you will get to practice on your own boxing bag at your own pace. Then you can pick up the pace and get a great cardio workout.
