01 is an education lab that fosters agency and creative confidence in students by empowering them to shape their worlds through technology. 01 programs are driven by a spirit of play and exploration. If you're not having fun, you're not learning.
Kids play games all the time so why not learn how to make the games. In this class students will get to pick the class of their choice. They can choose from: Virtual Reality Game Design, Programming with Python, or 3D Game Development with Unreal.
Beginner level one coding class is for children age 6 years or older. Students will learn Scratch basics and Minecraft programming. The coding class will teach students to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations, and share them with the rest of the world.
Robotics are a great way for kids to learn patience and execution because at the end of the project they can have instant gratification from the robot they build. Whether it be Minecraft, Lego, or a drone Coding Sharks Robotics program will keep your kids engaged.
Roblox is a popular website for kids to play games with their friends, so this course leverages the platform that already interests kids and uses it to teach them career-worthy skills.
Total beginner? This is the class for you. This week-long course is designed for young students ages 9+ with limited math and typing proficiency (JavaBlocks, our block-based coding platform tailor-made for easy transition into typed Java programming.
