Moving the wheels
Code on Wheels is working towards adding more diversity into the tech industry by bringing development to the students
Code on Wheels (CoW) was created to expose more diverse students to the tech space by partnering with organizations. Our goal is to make tech education accessible to underrepresented communities.
Mission
Our mission is to make tech accessible to all by bringing our tools and expertise into underprivileged areas by partnering with pioneer organizations and schools.
Values
We envision our students using coding and technical skills as tools to shape their future.
Why do we do it?
Code on Wheels was created with the intention of providing free coding education to people of all ages and backgrounds. The organization's founders believe that coding is a skill that everyone should have access to, and they work hard to make their classes as affordable as possible. In addition to teaching coding, Code on Wheels also provides resources and support to its students, many of whom are first-time coders.
In this class, kids will learn to use a friendly little robot to traverse mazes, deliver messages, start fun chain reactions and more … We will play programming games and begin to explore drag and drop coding to design our own interactive stories and games.
Game Development course is offered by C0deEX. Our mission is to educate the next generation of programmers who will use their skills and knowledge to make the world a better place.
We offer year-round after-school clubs to students in 3rd-7th to introduce them to coding, computer skills, and strategic problem solving.
The course will cover component-oriented design patterns by experimenting with components such as rigidbodies (for physics), colliders (for collisions), audio sources (for game sound effects), and particle systems (for effects such as fire, rain, and explosions).
A programming language is a formal language that specifies a set of instructions that computer can understand. Programming languages generally consist of instructions for a computer. Programming languages can be used to create programs that implement specific algorithms.
