Course Details

Learn to code using the amazing micro:bit. We will use different programming languages to work with this versatile piece of hardware. We will start off with Microsoft MakeCode, then use the micro:bit in combination with Scratch to create and play games.

 

Finally, we will use a text based “grown-up” programming language such as Python to control our micro:bit.

  • Understand and use the sensors on board the micro:bit
  • Learn to code the micro:bit using MakCode
  • Use the new Scratch micro:bit extension
  • Bring your virtual game into the real world with the micro:bit
  • Learn about programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, IF/THEN/ELSE statements
  • Learn to code in Python using the micro:bit
