Learn the basics of crochet or knitting! We are oh-so-happy to offer these monthly affordable beginner community workshops taught by the Wild Hand team. As a part of the workshop registration you will be asked if you'd like to learn to knit or crochet. Both crafts will be taught each night (in separate rooms of the shop).

You're welcome to join us once or make it a monthly thing. Every month focuses on the basics of the craft (skills do not build month-to-month). This is a great way to (re)learn how to knit or crochet in a fun, welcoming space. All ages (generally we find that kiddos age 10+ do best) are welcome to join us and start their fiber craft journey.

Skills + Materials

This is a beginner workshop and no previous experience is needed to participate. You can bring your own yarn and crochet hook or knitting needles or use ours. We offer FREE yarn, hooks, and needles through our Little Free Fiber Library and will have a pile of supplies available when you arrive.

Community Commitment

We're looking forward to sharing space with you! If you haven't had a chance to read our Community Commitment, pop over to the website and read about how we agree to share space. Feel free to reach out to the shop if you have any questions along the way - we're excited to welcome you wherever you may be on the learning curve.

Student Discount

Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. When you arrive at your workshop there will be a QR code to scan and provide feedback on your workshop experience. After the short feedback survey the discount code will appear.
