The CAP program is approved by the Superintendent under the Private Career Colleges Ace 2005.
At BTT College, our CAP training assumes that students have some previous accounting knowledge. They will be introduced to accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, and Sage 300 and will develop strong software skills through theory, and hands-on practice exercises.
While attending CAP class, students will increase their critical thinking, analytical, communications, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Sage 50 (Formerly Simply Accounting) course is offered by Camosun Coastal Centre. The Camosun Coastal Centre (CCC) brokers training to enhance workforce development in the shipbuilding industry.
Participants gain a solid understanding of how to get started using Sage 50 Accounting software. Topics include company setup, chart of accounts and related financial statements, setup of customers and sales transaction processes.
Focus on ledger setup, adding customer accounts, daily transaction processing, reports and periodic processing. Learn to prepare payroll data and process payroll transactions. All sections for this course are in progress.
