This course covers regulations and rules that apply to firearms and ammunition in the entertainment industry; the types of guns, firearms, and ammunition used for entertainment purposes; and safe practices when guns of any type are used on set.
We’ll spend 1-2 hours (depending on the group size) getting you familiar with the basics of safe handling and use of a handgun. You can take as many of these as needed to feel comfortable before heading to the range. This introduction class is 100% ammo-free and will utilize a laser system.
The concealed handgun certification class is a course which is required to obtain a permit to carry a concealed handgun. The North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission requires that the class be a minimum of Eight (8) hours plus Handgun Qualification.
It has no shooting (classroom only) however meets all requirements by law to obtain your CCW permit. This class is perfect for individuals with a busy lifestyle that make an (8) hour class difficult to attend as well as unnecessary due to the individual's experience level.
