Course Description:
This unit covers the conduct excavator operations in the civil construction industry. It includes: planning and preparing; conducting machine pre-operational checks; operating the machine; lifting, carrying and placing materials; selecting, removing and fitting attachments; relocating the machine; carrying out machine operator maintenance; and cleaning up.
Material Supplied:
All required training material is supplied by MBE training. Excavator to be supplied by client
Assessment:
Trainees will undertake a theory assessment, followed by a practical assessment.
Outcome:
Once competence is achieved, trainees will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO320E – Conduct civil construction excavator operations as well as a wallet card with the trainee’s photo
