The Working Safely at Heights Program is a one-day course that provides the student participant with the tactile and decision making skills to perform confidently and at their best when Working at Heights.
The course covers a range of topics including, but not limited to, hazard identification and risk control, crane setup and configuration, load calculations, crane operations, communication procedures, and shut down procedures.
The purpose of an evacuation exercise is to identify any deficiencies and weaknesses in current procedures and to test the knowledge and skills of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) members and to also ensure building occupants are familiar with evacuation procedures.
This course has been designed for individuals who work alone or as part of a team as an operator required to wear breathing apparatus in their work role. Â This might be because they are working in a confined space, with hazardous gases/vapours, or in an oxygen deficient atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the course delegates will have a good understanding of their legal responsibilities and those placed upon the employer. Delegates will be fully briefed in the requirement to undertake these types of assessments to aid the formulation
