About Nicky

Hello, I'm Nicky, an executive coach specialising in communication, leadership and performance. With years of experience in the live events industry, I've had the privilege of working on numerous high-profile corporate and public events all around the world, collaborating with brilliant speakers along the way.

My coaching business today is rooted in my past experiences of pitching for business and supporting clients as they prepared to deliver impactful speeches at their events. 

As a result, my programs go beyond just improving delivery; I also focus on enhancing the structure and content of my clients' communications.

For me, it's not just about how you say it, but what you say. I believe that working on both aspects is crucial. My ultimate goal is to help individuals feel comfortable and confident while effectively conveying their message.

Unlike traditional presentation skills training, my clients are typically seeking practical skills relevant to today's work environment. They want to increase their impact, acquire tools to convey their ideas concisely (especially since we're all in back-to-back meetings), and adapt to the changing dynamics of communication.

I understand the fear that comes with public speaking all too well. In fact, I’m currently researching glossophobia, also known as the fear of public speaking, for my master's degree in Coaching for Behavioural Change at Henley Business School.

Curran Coaching is thriving, and I'm fortunate to have partners in different regions who assist when time zones don't align.

I offer coaching services to clients worldwide, primarily through online small group sessions, one-on-one coaching for leaders from global corporations like Gilead, Blackstone and Unilever, and in-person workshops for organisations like Appian Capital and Shell.

When I'm not helping individuals become better communicators, you'll find me at my home in Scotland enjoying outdoor adventures with my husband and four boys.
