The Safety Training Annual Calendar is primarily for Facilities and Construction staff. Other safety training may be provided to other University units throughout the year, as needed.
Portland State University's Intensive English Language Program (IELP) is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA). CEA maintains rigorous standards for English Language Programs and the IELP must meet their standards on a recurring basis.

In the OSHA ergonomics training course, students will learn about the importance and application of ergonomics in the workplace. We will cover the proper use of tools, equipment, and machine controls; proper lifting techniques, and proper ways to move between tasks.
