Confined Space Awareness Training

This Confined Space Awareness Training course is designed to be used as part of a Confined Space Program for all employees who work around confined spaces.

This course has been approved for 1 Contact Hour (0.1 CEUs) of REHS Continuing Education Credits (Public Health Accreditation #044).

This course is designed to help workers meet the OSHA Confined Space Awareness Training requirement as outlined in the OSHA regulation.

This training should be combined with company specific training on the employer's Confined Space Program, including the specific hazards that the employee may face.

This course is NOT intended for those workers who are required to enter confined space, as confined space entry training should be done in a classroom session and include sufficient hands-on training and practice.

When required by OSHA standards, workers must receive additional training on the specific hazards of their job.

Training providers should be used to ensure credibility and augment a company's training program. Therefore, in addition to the training provided by an outside party, students should receive site-specific training that is supplied by his or her own companies.
