Confined Space Entry course is offered by Camosun Coastal Centre. The Camosun Coastal Centre (CCC) brokers training to enhance workforce development in the shipbuilding industry.
CCC creates partnerships with private and public training service providers and brokers their training products to industry. CCC is building up a ‘virtual’ course curriculum that consists of a full spectrum of coursing from entry level and awareness training right through to the delivery of specialty training. Courses are delivered as per industry demand.
The training is delivered at the CCC facility in Esquimalt or can be delivered at other locations in B.C. where there is sufficient demand (e.g. North Vancouver).
IMTARC developed curriculum in a number of key areas that have been identified as high priority by industry. These courses are all available and will be scheduled based on demand.

is an Entry-Level course required for any worker who intends to operate or use an aerial lift on the job, or find work as an industrial equipment operator and/or a technician at heights.
Participants will learn about different types of elevating work platforms and discuss their functions, safety features, characteristics, components and stability.
This four-hour course will assist employers in identifying worksite-specific emergencies that may require rescue or evacuation and then developing safe and effective response plans, in accordance with Part 7 of the Alberta OH&S Code.
