Confined Space Entry
Our Confined Space Entry training course has been developed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely perform work in confined spaces.
The Confined Space Entry course is for any employee who may be expected to complete work-related tasks that expose them to danger when working in confined spaces.
This Confined Space Entry course will also establish an understanding of the statutory requirements of the federal COHS, Provincial and Territorial OH&S legislations.
We will achieve this through discussion of confined space fundamentals and by participating in skills exercises. By the end of this Confined Space Entry course you will be able to:
Describe a Confined Space.
Describe various hazards and know how to handle hazards that are identified.
You will understand the information every employee needs to know in order to avoid accidental exposure.
You will understand the confined space permit system.
Should something go terribly wrong, you will know how to effect a non-entry rescue.
What You Will Need
If you do not own your own safety gear some will be provided for you.
