This course is suitable for persons entering, persons on stand-by and persons issuing permits.
This course includes the use of gas detection equipment, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Harnesses, Ascent/Descent equipment etc. Confined Space Entry includes HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
All participants are required to be Medically Fit & Clean Shaven and to bring Safety Boots, Hard Hat, Overalls and gloves.

In this course you will learn about the hazards associated with working at heights, the function and operation of basic height safety equipment, inspection and maintenance requirements for equipment used to work at heights and legislative requirements.
The course requires you to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others.
