*If the participant has taken HCSAS Confined Space Entry within the last six (6) months, you are able to register for the half-day Confined Space Rescue portion of the course.

Identification of confined spaces
Saskatchewan OH&S legislated standards
Requirements for working in or around confined spaces
Hazard assessment and control methods for confined spaces
Review of atmospheric testing
Entry plan and permits
Emergency response plans (ERP)
Confined Space Rescue course content includes:
Saskatchewan OH&S legislated standards
Lifeline and harness requirements
An additional advantage of mechanical devices to lift/move casualties
Practice drags and carries
The practical exercise involves students developing an entry plan and practice task-specific rescue

All basic PPE will be required for the practical portion of the course. If your company is requesting a private course, please contact our office to discuss company-specific rescues and the materials needed for the rescues.
