Course Objectives:
At the successful completion of the course the trainee will be able to:
Identify required legal documents covering confined space entry
Provide examples of confined spaces, listed and categorised
Identify and implement control measures to eliminate, isolate, and minimise the risk of confined space hazards
Demonstrate knowledge of monitoring and confined space testing requirements
Describe how hazards of confined spaces are identified in terms of their potential for serious harm
Describe the responsibilities and duties of people entering confined spaces or conducting observation duties for confined spaces
Develop an emergency procedure plan.

All of our trainers have extensive industry experience and have been selected to join the Vertical Horizonz team because of their standout performance within their chosen field.
During this four-hour course, learners will understand how to work safely on-site, how to promote a strong health and safety awareness and improve culture on-site. In addition, identify hazards and safe use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP), scaffolds and nets.
This course will provide you with the skills and understanding of the requirements to safely operate a truck loader crane within the parameters outlined in the Approved Code of Practice for Cranes.
Full Forklift course training is offered by Nelson Technical Institute for all skill level.  A 2 day course ( 1 day lecture and theory test, 1 day practical exam) to gain both the F Endorsement and OSH Certificate.
At the successful completion of this course a trainee will be able to: describe hazard and assess risks that may cause harm, explain health and safety requirements for hazard & risk control; describe hazard & risk control methods, identify hazards and apply risk assessment procedures.
