Confined Space Rescue Course (Non-WSQ)

Designed to equip participants with adequate basic knowledge on rescue for purpose of executing rescue planning and rescue operation in a confine space.

Course Outline:

• Understanding key legislation on confine space entry
• Understanding confined space identification and its related potential hazards
• Rescue planning & preparation work.
• Practical training on rope works for rescue purposes
• Use of various rescue equipment e g. tripod and winch system
• Practical training on donning of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) set
• Movement of casualties ( with or without stretcher)
• Practical rescue training on mock up tank and tunnel rescue e g. rescue without entry and rescue with entry in Confine Space
• Use of specialize confine space rescue stretcher, one-man cradle rescue, stretcher rescue etc
• Basic first aid
