Training participants will review the components required in a workplace/plan specific confined space program. This discussion will focus on hazard assessment, entry permits, atmospheric testing and on-site rescue procedures. Participants will then explore the many potential atmospheric and safety hazards in confined spaces.
This discussion will include work procedures and strategies for the identification of potential hazards and their control. Specific attention is paid to the use and maintenance of respirators and other personal protective equipment along with duties of attendants and the various aspects of on-site rescue.

This course will provide the learner with the required knowledge to perform an entry level confined space rescue. During this training program we will cover complex confined space entries that will require rescue term to enter the space to retrieve their co worker.Â
