Since 1912 the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 303 has proudly represented electrical and communication workers providing leadership, employment structure and a collective voice in the electrical trade. Our members reside, work and contribute to the local economy.
This course is 8hr with 4 hours of classroom instruction on critical lift procedures and management of the critical lift. Practical’s are completed in the remaining 4 hours, which are completed in our Virtual Reality simulator where the participants will be able to complete a critical lift
Our Overhead Crane Operator Safety Training course covers a wide range of topics. We will discuss safety regulations related to overhead cranes and the responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers.
EHS Zone provides a variety of Occupational Health and Safety courses for workers and supervisors. The training sessions are held at our location in Vaughan, ON and also in different training centers around the GTA. We also offer customized training sessions at customer sites.
Aerial Work Platforms course is offered by iBEW Local.
This online health and safety course also present examples of situations where poor posture or technique is used. It also deals with the various means of prevention to be implemented in order to prevent back pain as well as good practices to adopt to ensure safe manual handling of loads.
