This course will focus on building and managing relationships at all angles of the supervisor role.
Construction supervisors and forepersons are the hub of every project and have touchpoints and demands from their own crew, suppliers, trades or general contractors, project managers and estimators, their boss and the owner of the project.
Working with this range of people and meeting their needs can be challenging - but it can be done!
This course will focus on building and managing relationships at all angles of the supervisor role, including when situations and people may be challenging and conflicts arise, such as dealing with poor performance, moving from a peer to a boss and applying a constructive approach to conflict management.
You will also discuss performance improvement plans and using company policies as a resource.
