This one-year, full-time programme of study will introduce you to bricklaying. lt will help you develop the skills you will need to progress onto a Level 2 course, an apprenticeship or employment. This course is for school leavers aged 16-18.

Bricklaying course is offered by BCT NI CIC. BCT has been offering construction training, mentoring, and support to young people since 2004.
Our part time course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a recognised bricklayer. You will have the opportunity to learn in our state-of-the-art workshops with specialist equipment.
This apprenticeship standard is suitable for Bricklayers whose role involves laying bricks, blocks and other types of building components in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures such as chimney stacks.
This course is a progression from the Level 1 study programme to further develop skills in bricklaying. It’s about increasing trade skills to meet the needs of employers.
This course is perfect if you have no previous construction knowledge and you want to find out what’s involved in the industry.
