The course covers a range of topics, including the identification and management of hazards and risks in construction, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency response procedures, and the management of workplace incidents and injuries.
Prepare To Work Safely In The Construction Industry course is offered by Advanced Industry Training.
This is a course of training that provides basic knowledge of construction work, the Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws that apply, common hazards likely to be encountered in construction work and how the associated risks can be controlled.
This unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work.
