This basic course is designed for students to understand and demonstrate safe work practices. People completing this course are able to identify the principles of workplace safety in a given workplace and demonstrate safe work practices in a specific workplace.
This course provides students with knowledge of basic work- place safety, an understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the skills needed to then apply key princi- ples in the workplace. It will also provide an overview on the responsibilities of people in the workforce.
