It uses techniques and methods found in ballet, modern dance and post-modern dance, and draws from other philosophies of movement beyond the realm of classical dance technique.

This class is for participants aged 7 years & over. This beginner class will teach students the basics to the very popular style of contemporary dance. The class will typically involve a warm up, stretch, progressions across the room and dances for students enjoyment.
In contemporary we use basic combinations with a focus on good technique, breathing, style and performance.
