Students will increase their skills and knowledge in this particular artistic and expressive area of dance.
Opportunities are included for dancers to develop a personal movement style alongside devising their own compositions.

Stage 84’s Contemporary Dance group have performed specially-choreographed pieces in our annual Christmas shows and performed at large scale regional events such as Fresh at the CAST Theatre in Doncaster.

Founded in 1984, Stage 84 is a leading force in the provision of performing arts training for young people in Yorkshire.
We welcome boys and girls from 3 years of age upwards to early 18+, offering classes in Performing Arts, Drama Workshop, Contemporary Dance, Street and Freestyle Dance, Speech and Drama, Singing & Vocal Coaching and more.
Thousands of young people have attended Stage 84, either for recreation, or to train specifically for a career in the performing arts industries.

We are based in large, purpose-fitted facilities in Bradford and also offer further classes at venues in Skipton and Burley-in-Wharfedale.
Junior Contemporary classes are offered by Grange School of Ballet Edinburgh. We are dedicated to ensuring each and every one of our pupils has the best possible dance training, whether they wish to take the path of exams or not.
This class begins with some warm-up and technique exercises which focus on stability and gaining a general understanding of contemporary dance.
Kids Contemporary & Lyrical classes are offered by Love To Dance Studio. Fully Qualified Professional teachers with the Allied Dancing Association, DBS checked, Fully Insured.
