Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

This half day course is aimed at those working with substances which could be hazardous to a workers health and identifies the legal requirements that must be complied with.

COSHH Course Overview

Specifically, the course focuses on the COSHH Regs 2002 (as amended) and how it applies to the use and control of hazardous substances, allowing delegates understand their duties and their employer duties.

Company ‘safe use’ and health and safety policy requirements will be illustrated to ensure understanding; using practical examples, discussion and case studies.

Learning Outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will have an understanding of the employer and their duties regarding COSHH and know the requirements of a COSHH assessment.
