This Traffic Controller course focuses on the setup of traffic management signs and devices, and the responsibilities of safely controlling traffic using a Stop/Slow Bat to ensure the safety of site workers and the general public.
This course is a 1 day course that is ideal for workers and supervisors in the civil construction industry that are involved in traffic management and are required to place signage at roadworks.
On successful completion of the theory component and the currency of industry practice students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the following units.
Traffic Control training course is delivered and certificates are issued by Edway Training (RTO No 91401). Edway Training is approved by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course.
This course will provide participants with the theory and skills necessary to safely control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat in accordance with Main Roads WA standards and Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
