Course Overview
This course, developed by the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), equips participants with the necessary skills to manage traffic using a stop/slow bat at road worksites requiring road closures, at various events on the road necessitating full or partial closures, or in other situations requiring traffic control on roadways.

These units of competency provide the candidate with the required knowledge and understanding to be able to control traffic with stop-slow bat as well as implement a traffic management plan within the civil construction industry.Â
The Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Controller (BWTM & TC)Â is a mandatory requirement to work on roads and control traffic within WA.
This course is a 1 day course that is ideal for workers and supervisors in the civil construction industry that are involved in traffic management and are required to place signage at roadworks.
