What Is Coping With Stress And Stress Management Training?

By the end of the course delegates will be able to understand the legal background relating to stress. Define 'stress' and differentiate between pressure and stress. State the short and long term effects of stress on an individual and the organisation.

Identify the early warning signs of stress to enable a proactive approach therefore creating an environment where prevention of stress is key. Carry out informal meetings designed to support the risk assessment process.

Devise strategies for dealing with stress in line with their legal duties and responsibilities as laid out in the new HSE Standards on work-related stress.
