COSHH Awareness

 Our 2 Days COSHH Awareness Train the Trainer course allows you to become an instructor delivering effective COSHH Awareness Training to employees.

As a result of this course you will be able to train people with little or no knowledge, or experience in Health and Safety to have COSHH safety awareness in their roles.

This course is suitable for beginners, up to experienced practitioners. We incorporate all levels of experience within the training.

This COSHH Assessor Trainer course is suitable for training employees in industries such as:

• Agriculture (ex: Dusts, chemicals, diseases, toxic gases.)

• Baking (ex: Dusts, enzymes, flavour Concentrates, cleaning products.)

• Beauty (ex: Products that cause skin irritation, allergies and asthma, acrylic fumes.)

• Catering (ex: Products that  cause dermatitis, skin allergies, asthma, fumes.)

• Cleaning (ex: products that cause dermatitis, allergies and asthma, corrosive products)

• Engineering (ex: dusts, fumes, chemicals, germs in metalworking fluids)

• Hairdressing (ex: products that cause dermatitis, allergies, asthma.)

• Offshore  Oil and Gas (ex: chemicals, fumes, dust, vapours, gases and asphyxiating gases)

• Motor Vehicle repair (ex: paints, fuels, brake fluid, lubricants, degreasing fluids, cleaning products, welding and cutting fumes, dusts, battery acid)

To enable candidates to carry out their own training course of operatives, in a basic understanding of the requirements of COSHH regulations.

Assessment Criteria:

The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training. On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session and answer a question paper on which they will be assessed.
