COSHH Training

This COSHH Training, awareness course is aimed at those who use substances hazardous to health at work and introduces delegates to the hazards associated with those substances, the risks and controls available, what to expect from a COSHH assessment and the possible health implications.

COSHH Awareness complements the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace really well by introducing delegates to the inherent risks in substances and the controls available.

This COSHH Training or Control of Substances Hazard to Health (COSHH) course has been designed to give the delegates knowledge and awareness of the dangers that can be associated with workplace hazardous substances, and the safety steps to be observed to eliminate or reduce risks that may cause any harm to yourself, your work colleagues and others.

Our COSHH trainers all come from different backgrounds such as Professional Medic, Ex-Military, Mountain Rescue, Industry and are very educated with certificates in NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid etc. With their knowledge and experience in this field they are able to share their experienced into the delivery of the course and give valuable advice of the do’s and don’ts.

Successful completion of this course delegates are provided with a COSHH Awareness certificate. After this course delegates have the option to build their H&S knowledge by booking themselves onto the IOSH Managing Safely course.

• At PLT Training – £130 per delegate

• Offsite (customer site) – £475 for up to 10 delegates
