The main legislation applying to the use of lift trucks Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.

Forklift trucks are commonly used for transporting materials and goods, however, they are involved in approximately 25% of all workplace transport accidents. It is important to remember that the outcome of forklift truck accidents affects lives and causes disruption to business operations.

Our Forklift Truck Training Courses are delivered by certified RTITB instructors catering for novices, refreshers, and familiarity training.

The Forklift Training Health and Safety Course can be at our training facilities or in-house where required.

The Forklift Training Health and Safety Course is delivered on your premises and will require the provision of a B1 counterbalance forklift truck.

Forklift Training Course Includes:

• Basic training: the basic skills and knowledge required to operate a lift truck safely and efficiently.
• Specific job training: knowledge and understanding of the operating principles and controls of the lift truck to be used and how it will be used in the workplace.
