This course provides the training and certification for anyone operating a counterbalance forklift on a job-site. This course is for Class I Electric and/or Class IV or Class V Internal Combustion Engine equipment. This course includes theory and hands-on components.
The course is intended for employees who operate forklift or clamp trucks in the workplace. This program is designed for operators who have had some experience driving a forklift without a licence or for those renewing their licence.

This course combines theoretical knowledge as well as practical, hands-on training and evaluation. Students will understand the risks of working near fall hazards, how to evaluate protective methods for different scenarios, and proper selection and use of personal protective equipment.

Located to our Concord Office, is our Occupational Health and Safety Training Center. We are proud to have achieved recognition from the Chief Prevention Officer, who has certified RMG as an approved training provider.
The lockout/tag out program is the main method recommended and used for worker protection in cases where non-routine activities are performed such as repair, maintenance require the removal of guarding devices and barrier guards.
This is the beginner level and all new candidates have to undertake an IRATA approved training course of a minimum of four days (we do five) followed by a one-day assessment by an independent IRATA assessor.
