The mannequins are equipped with disposable lungs for ease of sanitation. In classes of up to 8 attendees, each attendee is provided with their own mannequin.

NYST’s First aid, CPR, and AED course teaches students to respond to a number of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts, scrapes, falls, sudden illnesses, head and back injuries, asphyxiation and heat and cold injuries.
This 8-hour program is for personnel who might encounter a person who suffers an injury resulting from either medical or traumatic causes. A card in first aid from EMS Safety Services will be presented after the completion of this course.
